
Terms & Conditions

Booking Process
- Customer submits quote request via form with event details
- KSR Productions reviews and sends custom quote via email/phone
- Customer pays 30% deposit (non-refundable) to secure date
- Event occurs with full setup and execution
- Final 70% payment due 7 days before event
- Setup/execution with setup and pack-down included
Payment Terms
- Deposit: 30% of quoted price (non-refundable, required within 7 days of quote acceptance)
- Final Balance: 70% due 7 days prior to event date
- Security Bond: $200 (DJ/indoor events) or $300 (outdoor cinema/big screen events) – refundable upon satisfactory completion of event
- Travel Costs: Calculated separately for bookings 100km+ from base location (Murgon, QLD 4605)
- Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit card, cash on day (if pre-arranged)
Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days before event: Lose deposit only (no further charges)
- 7–30 days before event: Lose 50% of total quoted price
- Less than 7 days before: Lose 100% of total quoted price (full cost due)
All cancellations must be made in writing (email or text message) to be considered valid.
Security Bond
A security bond is required for all events to cover potential damage to equipment or venue:
- • DJ/Indoor Events: $200
- • Outdoor Cinema/Big Screen Events: $300
The bond is fully refundable upon satisfactory completion of the event, provided no damage has occurred to equipment or venue. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after the event.
Travel Costs
- Base Radius: 100km from Murgon, South Burnett, Queensland 4605
- Travel Costs: Apply for bookings 100km+ from base location
- Travel costs are calculated per quote and will be clearly itemized in your quote
- Travel costs are included in the total quoted price and subject to the same payment terms
Setup & Pack-down
- Setup time: Typically 1–2 hours depending on equipment complexity
- Pack-down: 1 hour, included in booking
- Client must provide adequate access to venue for setup and pack-down
- Client must ensure venue has appropriate power supply for equipment requirements
Public Liability Insurance
KSR Productions maintains public liability insurance coverage. Certificate of currency available upon request. Client is responsible for ensuring venue has appropriate insurance coverage for the event.
Equipment & Safety
- All equipment is professionally maintained and tested before each event
- Client must ensure venue meets safety requirements for equipment setup
- KSR Productions reserves the right to refuse setup if safety concerns are identified
- Client is responsible for any damage to equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized access
Force Majeure
KSR Productions is not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closure, or equipment failure beyond our control. In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule where possible.
